Cutting coyote season is rarely brought up. In New Hampshire, a hunter can hunt coyotes all year long with few exceptions. Residents have mixed feelings on the song dogs. Some believe every coyote needs to live a long fulfilling life. Others want to see the canines under control. A bill in the Senate would ban coyote hunting for 5 months from April to August. New Hampshire Fish and Game opposes the new bill. The bill aims to protect mothers who are raising pups. Some residents believe if there was a problem with coyote populations game managers would have implemented restrictions already.

With the current climate of states banning coyote hunting contests, this seems as another veiled attempt from anti-hunters to take away our rights as hunters. Updates will be provided when available.
