In a 196-180 vote House of Representatives passed the Manage Our Wolves Act. Although in a lame duck session the voting was mixed with 9 Democrats voting for and 12 Republicans voting against. The measure now moves to the Senate. This is a fight that is not over but it is a step in the right direction. Science-based biology is the smart way to manage our wildlife. Wolves have met the Endangered Species Act recovery quotas and need to be managed. Mexican Gray Wolves are not subject to this bill.
