Training wolves in Yellowstone??? Yellowstone wolf biologist Doug Smith has a new idea, he wants to train wolves to be afraid of humans. Hazing the wolves will give them a healthy fear of people which they’ve lost in the park. The tactics they will use are shooting paintballs and bean bags at roadside wolves. The logic behind the idea isn’t new, park officials have a report from 2002 that concludes hazing won’t help habituated wolves.
