In the most current Brood Survey, Pheasants Per Mile (PPM) were at 2.47, this is up from 2017’s survey (1.68). The numbers are still down from the 10 year average.
The towns of Chamberlain, Mitchell, Pierre and Huron still top the list of Pheasants Per Mile.
Residents Only Season opens= Oct 13 2018
Youth Only Season opens= Oct 6 2018
Traditional Season opens= Oct 20 2018
