KILLING AN ENDANGERED SPECIES

Two Phoenix Arizona men were charged in the killing of a Mexican Gray Wolf. “Under the Endangered Species Act, it is illegal to take, including kill, a threatened or endangered species. The crime is a misdemeanor that carries a maximum fine of $50,000 and/or a year in prison.”

The killing happened in late 2017 in eastern Arizona. However, the preliminary hearing was scheduled for Oct 10th, 2018.
