Mahannah Wildlife Management Area is closed until further notice for deer hunting. Mississippi Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks has cited high river levels and flooding for the closures. Waterfowl hunting in the area is still open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays with access by boat only due to the flooding. There is a daily draw for hunting spots in the area that starts at 5am.
