Have you been looking for a different kind of adventure lately?

How about something with some fast-paced action and generous bag limits?

You may want to look into the goat, sheep, pig, and ungulate hunt control program just announced for Hawaii’s Pu‘u Wa‘awa‘a forest reserve. This program includes a special hunt area for youth and disabled hunters starting the first weekend in August 2018. The Makai archery season will be the first four weekends in August as well as state holidays within that time. This season allows the harvest of one pig, one non-typical ram, and three goats per day. The Makai muzzleloader season will be the next three weekends following the archery season and also includes state holidays within that time. The muzzleloader season also allows the same harvest limits.
