Due to several factors, the Farragut Shooting Range was closed. However, the Shooting Range will once again be open to the public starting Feb. 11th.

Starting about a month ago machinery failures, staffing turnover, and heavy snow and ice necessitated the shutting down of the Shooting Range.

During the month-long shutdown Range Safety Officers and Idaho Fish and Game staff, worked to get the Range up and going again. The Range, throughout the winter, will operate from Friday through Sunday each week from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Any unforeseen closures will be announced on the Idaho Fish & Game Website. You can be transferred to their website by clicking here.

For readers that haven’t visited the Farragut Shooting Range, you should definitely give it a look. The Range features year-round public access to 50, 100, and 200-yard firearm ranges plus trap and archery shooting. You can use the range for $5.00 per day.
