Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Colorado Parks and Wildlife officials are asking themselves this same question. Officials are going to hold public meetings to hear the concerns and recommendations on the state 5-year Big Game Structure. Stemming from the Big Game Structure are big game regulations, season date, and tag limits. The structure is presented from CPW to the commision for approval. Public input is vital to help CPW make decisions that will have public support. Colorado hunters can find the dates for the meetings and the number for telephone town halls on the CPW website here.

These meetings are vital so that hunters like you and I can be heard. The application process in Colorado was changed in 2018 and as a result, a lot of people were upset. It is in these meetings where our voices need to be heard to help our states manage hunting in an efficient manner. Anyone ever had any experience in raising awareness at state meetings such as this one? Did it help the outcome and structure of hunting in your state?
