Creating and supporting some 171,000 jobs directly related to hunting and fishing. In addition to those jobs, a huge amount of money is put back into the economy, to the tune of $11.2 billion. Yes, billion with b. The numbers were gathered from the Michigan United Conservation Club, along with Michigan State University, and the C.S. Mott Foundation.

Yet another study that proves hunting and fishing is of massive value to the states. Not only in terms of wildlife management, but also in economic impact. How much does hunting contribute to your state’s economy?
