The Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD) has made the draw results for 2022 pronghorn and elk hunts available.

To view your draw results and bonus points you must have an AZGFD portal account. Subsequently, draw results are no longer made available via the automated phone system.

You can create a free AZGFD portal account can be created by visiting the AZGFD account page. If you click here you can be transferred to that page. Creating a portal account will allow hunters to manage their contact information, as well as their licenses, draw results history, and bonus points. Likewise, these items can be found by going to their personal “My AZGFD Dashboard” section within the portal section.

Below we will list some of the numbers that the AZGFD made available from the draw results.

  • 176,822 hunter applications were submitted for the draw.
  • 217,839 individuals applied for permits or bonus points.
  • The AZGFD issued a total of 25,136 permits for this draw.

The AZGFD is reminding hunters that the permits should be mailed by April 1st.

We know this is a fairly short article. However, many elk and pronghorn permits in Arizona are considered highly desirable and we wanted to bring this news to you.

The application process for deer, sheep, and fall bison will be starting sometime in mid-May. Typically the application process will have a deadline in early June. As stated above, hunters will be able to apply for deer, sheep, and bison during that application process. These permits will be mailed out sometime in early August.
